- 1928: Born in Hanoi
- 1946 - 1949: Work as a painter of Vinh Phuc Information Dept
- 1949 - 1953: Studied painting course named "Resistance Course"
- 1954: Participated in Dien Bien Phu Campaign
- 1955 - 1962: Studied at Surikiov Institute in Moscow
- 1962 - 1989: Work as a Lecturer at Hanoi Fine Arts University
- 1983 - 1994: Member of Executive Committee of Vietnam Fine Arts Association, Section II and III
- Works preserved in Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Poland Orient Museum, Former Soviet Union and in other private collections
